Why fly only half the available time? The Night Rating enables you, the pilot, to conveniently fly day or night. No more need for those confusing tables to figure out when official night starts and ends.
Prerequisite:
Private Pilot License
Category 3 Aviation Medical
Minimum Age of 17 Years
Structure:
Flight lessons are scheduled to reflect the need of the individual student.
Ground school is not required.
No written test administrated.
Flight exams are not required.
Course completion:
Students receive a Night rating after completing a minimum of 20 hours additional flight time.
The 20 hours flight time must include the following:
– 10 hours Dual instrument instruction (students may have acquired 5 hours during their private pilot license.)
– 5 hours dual at night including 2 hours night cross-country.
– 5 hours pilot in command at night.
Tuition:
Course cost as based on a student average is approximately $3,925.00 (see note). All tuition is subject to 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Note: Students who have not completed 5 hours instrument prior to this course can expect the tuition cost to be approximately $5,160.00.
International Students:
This program is a Designated Learning Program and eligible to receive foreign nationals on a study permit.
